Miriam Dede Nortey
In-Country Officer for Health and Nutrition
Miriam Dede Nortey is a dedicated health and nutrition professional with a passion for improving the lives of children and families. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Science, with a concentration in Family and Child Studies, from the University of Ghana.
Her professional journey began as a Child Care Assistant, where her love for early childhood development took root. She later served as an Administrative Assistant at the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipal Health Directorate, where she was responsible for data collection, monitoring, and community sensitization. These roles helped her develop strong administrative and field-based skills in public health.
Now serving as the In-Country Officer for Health and Nutrition at Relief for Children, Miriam supports field activities, project coordination and community-based health interventions. Her work is deeply shaped by her belief that every child deserves a safe, healthy and hopeful future and she is committed to being part of that mission every day.
