Francis Ametepey
Co-Director of Communications
Francis Ametepey holds a Master’s degree in Communication and Development Studies and a Certificate in Development Practice from Ohio University. He is set to begin his Ph.D. in Communication at the University of Cincinnati, focusing on Social Justice and Organizational Communication. Francis has served with the African Development Bank and the United Nations Development Programme in Ghana, where he amplified marginalized voices and supported sustainable development. At Ohio University, he was a Graduate Assistant at the Barbara Geralds Institute for Storytelling and Social Impact, leading multimedia advocacy projects and award-winning campus campaigns. He has also held leadership roles with Elected Officials to Protect America, Youth Advocates Ghana, the African Youth SDGs Summit Secretariat, and the Eastern Regional Youth Parliament in Ghana. His work centers on participatory governance, youth empowerment, and using organizational communication to drive inclusive development across Africa and beyond.
