Farrah Kuranchie

Secretary of the Board and Director of Child Sponsorship, and Co-Director of Communications

Farrah is a Ghanaian-American educator and nonprofit professional with a background in African history, cultural relations, and workforce development. She earned her B.A. in Africana Studies and Media/Communications and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in International Policy Studies at Johns Hopkins University. Her time as a school teacher in South Baltimore during her college studies sparked a deep commitment to serving youth and families in underserved communities. It was in the classroom that she discovered her passion for education and saw firsthand how access and opportunity can change lives. Today, she continues that work in the nonprofit space, collaborating with others to create sustainable career pathways for people across the Baltimore Metro area. Farrah is passionate about teaching, advocacy, and using cultural understanding to build equity and empower others.
