Kerianne (Keri) DiBattista

Chairperson

Keri is an international development professional and practitioner with a geographic specialization in Sub-Saharan Africa. Since 2022, Keri has served as Program Manager for the Southern and East Africa team at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI), providing programmatic support to the NDI Zambia and Malawi teams. Prior to joining NDI, Keri received her Master in Public Policy (MPP) from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government with a concentration in Political and Economic Development. She also completed certificates in Child Protection through the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights at Harvard University and in Management, Leadership, and Decision Sciences at Harvard Kennedy School. During her time at Harvard, she worked as a Graduate Research Assistant on the Building State Capability program at the Center for International Development. She is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served as a Math Teacher Trainer and National Financial Coordinator in Mozambique. In addition to serving as the Board Chairperson for Relief for Children, Keri continues to advise CACEFU-Moçambique, where she volunteered during her Peace Corps service. Her professional interests include grassroots and locally-led development, inclusion and empowerment of marginalized groups, program design and development, evaluation and learning, and child and social protection.
